WASHING HANDS

1. Purpose
This procedure will gave the good method how to wash the hand in British laboratory.
Recently, we sometime forget to wash the hands correctly.

2. Scope
These procedures are used to all the students, the work officers, laboratory assistants ,
instructions and all the people who want to enter the laboratory in British laboratory.

3. Responsibility
All of the people who want to enter and leave the laboratory must wash their hands cleanly in
British laboratory. Everyone has a responsibility to keep the cleanness their selves and the
labaroty.

4. Material and Procedure


4.1. Material
 Sink with hot water
 Sink with cold water
 Clean small towel
 Laboratory coat
 Hair cover

4.2. Procedure
 Make sure that there is not something on your fingers, hand and wrist. Such as
jewelry, ring, bracelet, watch and other accessories
 Wear the Laboratory coat
 Wear Hair cover
 Keep ready the towel
 Pour the hot water and clod in the sink, it must not be too hot and not be too cold, it is
depended on your want
 Wash your hand regularly
 Apply the liquid soap or bar of soap. Make sure that all your fingers, twist and hand
are washed for 1,5 minutes
 Rinse your hands and dry them by the dry towel.
