To Whom it may concern:

I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Jie Hua Yu as a student for Integrated Math
2 and AP Calculus AB. Jie has a number of personality traits and people skills that
make him suitable for any scholarship or school.

Jie is a hard worker who is very careful in completing assignments. He is able to grasp
new concepts, follow directions, ask questions when unsure, and is very teachable. He
always went above and beyond most students to learn new material. Jie is a student
who works diligently on all assignments and strives to achieve the highest marks
possible.

Being a member of KIWIN’S, a link leader, and an academic mentor has taught Jie skills
most students don’t learn until after high school. He has become more responsible,
taken on more leading roles, and has acquired above average people skills since being
in these classes. Jie is friendly, well liked by all peers and teachers. He carries himself
in a respectable manner. Jie has a 4.06 total GPA; he is a very focused student and will
not settle for anything less than what he has set his mind to.

It is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Jie. There are no doubts in my


mind that he will have an extremely productive future and succeed at any college he
attends.
