Office of The Math Students' Society

The Math Students' Society (MSS) at Leyte Normal University conducted a campus-wide clean-up drive on September 20, 2017. The MSS was assigned to clean the SR grounds, including classrooms and lobbies. Students cleaned chairs, tables, chalkboards and windows. The MSS officers led the organization and instructed members where to clean. The clean-up drive was successfully completed and the SR grounds were noticeably cleaner afterwards, encouraging students to keep the campus clean.

CLEAN-UP DRIVE

Last September 20, 2017, Wednesday, the Leyte Normal University


conducted campus-wide clean-up drive. This activity was conducted to clean
school premises as well as the classrooms. Prior to the assignments of the places
to clean, the Math Students’ Society was assigned to clean the SR grounds. The
MSS members worked together in cleaning the classrooms and SR lobby. Other
students were assigned in cleaning the chairs, tables and chalkboards and
some were assigned to clean the windows. This activity was held the whole day
of September 20, 2017. Majority of the MSS members attended the activity and
helped in cleaning the school premises in the morning and afternoon. The
officers lead the organization. They facilitated the instruction to each of the
member of MSS as to where and how they would clean the place. The activity
was successfully finished at the end of the day. The clean surroundings in SR
grounds was already observable after the MSS members cleaned the place. The
clean-up drive encouraged the students to be responsible with their actions so
that the surroundings would not be affected with the deeds they made.
