Awakened Bush

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by
1.

Age. Bushes reach adulthood in their late teens and can live for centuries.

Alignment. Awakened plants start off unaligned and their eventual alignment will depend on their
formative experiences.

Size. Bushes vary widely in height and build, from barely 4 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of
your position in that range, your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 20 feet.

False Appearance. While you remain motionless, you are indistinguishable from a normal plant.
Though most creatures would find it highly suspicious to see a plant carrying equipment.

Plant Camouflage. You have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks you make in any terrain with
ample obscuring plant life.

Plant Requirements. Although you don't sleep the way an animal does you do require a dormant
period of 4 hours per day. During this time you can obtain the water and nutrients you require
through your roots. Not all environments will have access to the resources you require, in which
case you may consume food and water through your roots.

Plant Construction. You are vulnerable to fire damage and resistant piercing damage.

Natural Armour. You have tough, bark for skin. When you aren't wearing armour, your AC is 12 +
your Dexterity modifier. You can use your natural armour to determine your AC if the armour you
wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your
natural armour.

Grasping Vines. You have abilities that act similar to spells, you use Strength as your spellcasting
ability for these spells. You know the thorn whip cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the
entangle spell once per day. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the spike growth spell once
per day.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common.
