Price indicator 5 and 8 - KSII
Dear Experts,
I have calculated actual activity price through KSII.
Then checked Activity Price report.
let me know what is the origin for the price for price indicator 5 and 8.

I have maintained the following for activity type:
Allocation default values:
ATyp category: 1 - Manual entry, manual allocation
Price indicator- 1 - Plan price, automatically based on activity
Variance values for actual allocation:
Actual Activity Type Cat: 1 - Manual entry, manual allocation
Actual price indicator: 5 - Actual price, automatically based on activity
I want know the reason how the system calculated price for the price indicator 5 and 8.

Hi,
The reason you have price with indicator 8 is that in your version
maintenance Purely iterative price ()
is selected.

Hi Surya
Take F1 help at 'Variance value....... (on actual price indicator) It says :
008 (Selecting version maintenance):
The actual price of the activity type is caluclated purely iteratively. If you
activate the indicator
Purely iterative price ()
in the version, the R/3 System calculates an iterative price along with the price
resulting from planning

Thanks for the solution.
When I see the activity price report, these 3 prices are appearing.
Iterative price and planned price.
If do the revaluation of the order which price will be considered.
What is the best practice to re valuate the order.

Order will be revaluated based on rate against 5 only.
