This document provides instructions for assembling a 3D hexagonal box from cardstock by printing the template, cutting out the pieces along outer edges and score lines, folding along creases, gluing tabs to connect adjacent edge pieces into a hex shape with one side missing, and sliding the lid piece over the bottom piece to form the completed box. The instructions specify using heavy cardstock of at least 110 lb weight and suggest using spray adhesive to glue multiple sheets for extra thickness.

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Print at 100%, no page scaling.

2) Use heavy cardstock, at least 110 lb (199 g/m2). You could
use spray adhesive to glue 2 sheets for extra thickness.
3) Carefully cut along all outer edges.
Note: tabs used to connect edges are shown as mini-
mum size. Cut these larger for easier assembly.
4) Crease paper at each black line so that the colored side
remains on the outside.

5) Glue tabs to the non-colored side of the adjacent edge

piece. You will end up with a 3-dimensional hex shape with
one side missing.
6) If desired, place tape on the outside (colored) edges
where the tabs connect to the edge pieces. This will help
ensure the glue doesn’t come undone.
7) The hex without the game logo (right) is the bottom of
your box and is slightly smaller than the top (left). Place
your hex pieces in that half and slide the lid over the top.
