 Assist in oversight of Hilton’s social media accounts for content related to Corporate Responsibility and showcase

The Bayside Skillet- Floor Manager June 2016-August 2016
 Operated the restaurant five nights a week, serving as the manager of all wait staff, host, and bar employees.
 Performed managerial functions, including the daily accounting and sales reports and closure of the restaurant.
 Attained the basic principles of both Front-of-House Manager and Kitchen Manager, leading a team of 15
employees.
The Mansion Alcazar Boutique Hotel- Rotational Intern May 2016-June 2016
 Practiced Spanish-speaking skills while learning the culture surrounding hospitality in Cuenca, Ecuador.
 Trained in three different sectors of hospitality (restaurant, front desk, and housekeeping) through a rotational
position in which I shadowed and assisted workers daily.

 Collected experience at this world-renown hotel in six different positions as an intern including, but not limited to,

 Gained experience in the restaurant, bar, and banquet divisions by shadowing the Food and Beverage Manager

University Park Student Fee Board- Member December 2016-Present


 Assist in the allocation of over 21 million dollars towards student activities, recreation, facilities, and services.
 Provided over $800,000 for mental health services for all University Park students.
University Smoke Free/Tobacco Free Task Force- Student Member December 2016-Present
 Headed the initiative to transition all Pennsylvania State University campuses to enforce a tobacco-free policy on
all University property.
 Collaborated with faculty, staff, and university administration to compile the recommendation report to the
University President.
 Oversaw the distribution of a $20,000 grant from the CVS Health Foundation/American Cancer Society Tobacco-
Free Grant Campus initiative to assist in the development of a tobacco-free policy.
The Presidential Leadership Academy- Student March 2015-Present
 Selected based off leadership ability as one of 30 students in the Class of 2018 to represent the student body and
engage in community development and world conversation.
 Develop critical thinking abilities and a global perspective in order to analyze the gray in societal issues.

Thesis Research on Managerial Perceptions April 2017-Present


 Conduct research on hotel managerial perceptions when hiring individuals that identify as homeless.
 Design a mixed methods approach to utilize both qualitative and quantitative studies through interviews with
corporate leadership and surveys distributed to hotel managers across the nation.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Organization- Assistant Director of Programming January 2010- Present
 Assist in the development of the Maryland Youth Leadership Seminar, which brings over 200 high school
sophomores together to enhance their leadership potential.
 Manage a team of five individuals to create the agenda of the four day seminar, in addition to coordinate with all
speakers and presenters throughout the week.
School of Hospitality Management THON- Recruitment Chair March 2015- November 2015
 Directed recruitment strategies for increased participation and fundraising for a 46 hour no sitting, no sleeping
dance marathon that raised money for the Four Diamonds Fund.
Welcome Week Crew- Captain August 2015
 Motivated a volunteer crew of 20 upperclassmen to effectively move-in 600 freshmen students into their residence
halls.
Snow Hill Appalachia Service Project (ASP) Team- Volunteer January 2010- June 2015
 Completed over 600 service hours and served on six missions trips in the Appalachia Mountains region.
 Renovated and repaired homes for families in need, making living conditions warmer, safer, and drier.
