The document provides instructions for an assignment for an English 110 class on 21st century science fiction. Students are asked to write a 2-3 paragraph response discussing the creative exhibits presented in class for a creative project, commenting on each exhibit they did not create. They should consider which projects stood out most and why, what they found engaging about the exhibits, how the exhibits made them think about texts in a unique way, and how the exhibits connected to class themes or discussions.

English 110: 21st Century Science Fiction

Dr. Amber Strother

Spring 2018
Creative Presentation Response
Due: 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 27

Write a 2-3 paragraph response that discusses the exhibits for the creative project presentations. While
you are free to respond to any of the exhibits, there should be some discussion of each of the exhibits that
you were not a part of creating. I am just looking for an overall response to this activity that incorporates
specific details to support your statements.

Things to consider:

 Which projects stood out the most to you and why?

 What did you find engaging about the exhibit as a whole and why?
 How did specific exhibits or projects make you think about the texts they were based on in a way
that was unique to experiencing the exhibit or project?
 How did the exhibit or projects connect to themes from science fiction or class discussion in
unique ways?
 What did you learn from this experience?
