How to Teach the Use of Positive Self-Talk? “I got this!”


• Begin the lesson by explaining to the students the definition of
self-talk and what positive self-talk is.
• “Raise your hand if there has ever been a time when you took a
hard test and you instantly thought you didn’t know the POSITIVE SELF TALK
answers?”” Raise your hand if you ever wanted to give up?” Ask
your students an open-ended question similar to this one based on CAN HELP SUPPORT:
