1. Introduction:
Super Tech Auto parts (Pvt) Ltd was established in 1982, we are the pioneer and
leading manufacturer of motorcycle components, we have been supplying our
"Totally in-house manufactured products" to all Japanese OEM as well as all
Chinese brand motorcycle manufacturers in Pakistan.

The Super Tech Auto parts (Pvt) Ltd is famous for manufacturing Phillip type
spoke nipple & butted type spoke. None other than the super tech has the
technology and the capability in Pakistan to produce such quality products. The
latest and high tech Spoke and Nipple manufacturing units are imported from
Sankyo Japan and Amba Germany to give the finest value and satisfaction to the
customers. .

We have a track record for the last ten years of Steel rim wheel of several types
suited to the wide range of customer Demand produced on sophisticated
machines with state of the art technology.

We produce muffler of different sizes to meet the demand of local market and
have fully developed in-house capability of managing the entire manufacturing
process with acute precise and quality

We produce high quality motorcycles handle on high-tech 5 axis CNC bending

machine with latest technology and have the capability to meet any variety of
customer demand. Other than above mention products we are also
manufacturing various motorcycle parts.

2. Maintenance/Engineering Department:
Maintenance/ Engineering is the discipline and profession of
applying engineering concepts for the optimization of equipment, procedures,
and departmental budgets to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and
availability of equipment.

Here I learned several main processes which are part of this department.

 Work order
 Daily break down chart
 Machine history card
 Preventive maintenance scheduled

3. Handle Department:
In this department I have learned different process of Handle manufacturing

 Pipe cutting (Done Manually)

 Chamfering
 Knurling
 Punching
 CNC bending
 Drilling

When the process of Handle is complete then it will be check on a gauge

(checking fixture)

There are different sizes of checking fixtures for different products (OEM)

I.e. CD-70 AHL FINAL, NJ AUTOS, GS 150 Suzuki etc

4. Nipple Department
Nipples are manufacture by using COIL.

This COIL comes in different sizes (5mm, 5.8mm, and 6.5mm).This Coil is Low
carbon material.

Coolant use in Nipples manufacturing is (H-100)

In this department I have learned different process of Nipple manufacturing

 Forging
(Head making in square shape)
 Drying (Then it moves to dryer)

5. Rim Department
The Rim is the "outer edge of a wheel, holding the tire". It makes up the outer
circular design of the wheel on which the inside edge of the tire is mounted on
vehicles such as automobiles. Following are the Process of Rim manufacturing:

 Forming(Seam welding)
 Cutting
 Butt welding(Joint welding)
 Deburring(Slag removal)
 Grinding
 Truing(Rim alignment)
 Polishing(Three sides joint)
 Final polishing
 Blanking, Piercing

6. Muffler/Press Shop:
A muffler (silencer) is a device for decreasing the amount of noise emitted by
the exhaust of an internal combustion engine. Following are the process of
muffler manufacturing and press shop which I have observed

 Rolling (Sheet cutting, Blanking)

 Argon Welding
 Notching
 Round welding
 Inner Assembly Inserting (Sheet/pipe cutting, forming on press, separator
mfg, inner assembly welding)
 Plate baffle spot welding
 Separator spot welding (CO2 Welding)
 Ring guide spot welding
 Stay body & stopper rubber mfg
 Stay body final welding
 Exhaust pipe mfg (pipe cutting, Pipe flaring, pipe collar welding, pipe
bending, Nut M5 welding)
 Exhaust pipe Final round welding

7. Auto Platting Department:

The process of Auto platting or electroplating, which in simple terms
involves using an electrical charge to attach a thin metal layer or coating to an
object such as an industrial part, is nothing new. Electroplating on plastic is also
used for chrome-plating the lightweight but sturdy parts that are a staple of the
modern automobile. The industrial use of electroplating is also a popular choice
in businesses when corrosion against protection is necessary to prevent the
premature demise of metal materials. Rims, Nipples, Spokes and Handles are
use for auto platting.

Where Rims, Handle and Muffler made from Chrome plating and Nipples,
Spokes made from Zinc Platting.

8. Spokes Department
A spoke is one of some number of rods radiating from the center of
a wheel (the hub where the axle connects), connecting the hub with the round
traction surface.
Here I have learned 2 types of Spokes
 Straight
 Swaged
Coil is used for manufacturing of Spokes,There are three types of Coils
 Imported(Honda Taiwan)
 Pak Wire (Thayan International)
 Armaz Wire(Chandana International)
Types of Wire Dia:
 4.0mm, 3.5mm, 3.2mm, 2.9mm, 2.6mm
Product name: Example: (A9*159.0) (B10*160.0)
Where A is straight wire, 9 is Diameter and 159 is Total length
Where B is swaged wire, 10 is Diameter and 160 is Total length

9. QA Department
Quality assurance (QA) is a way of preventing mistakes or defects in
manufactured products and avoiding problems when delivering solutions or
services to customers; which ISO 9000 defines as "part of quality
management focused on providing confidence that quality requirements will be
fulfilled". This defect prevention in quality assurance differs subtly from defect
detection and rejection in quality control, and has been referred to as a shift
left as it focuses on quality earlier in the process.

Function:
Main function of QA is to insured the quality of goods received from vendors.
Steps involve in Quality Assurance are as follows;
1. Incoming materials inspection
2. Materials are to be inspected according to specified requirements
3. Collect Inspection data on record
4. All conformed materials are label
5. Conformance are transferred to storage for stock
6. Non-conformal materials are to be labeled and relocated to rejection area for
isolation until return.
Here QA assure the quality of Rims, Muffler, Nipples, Handles and Spokes

10. HR and Admin Department

Human Resource Department has two basic functions: overseeing department
functions and managing employees. For this reason, a human resources manager
must be well-versed in each of the human resources disciplines – compensation
and benefits, training and development, employee relations, and recruitment and
selection.

Administration department is backbone of an organization. An effective

administrator is an asset to an organization.

An effective administrator should have the ability:

 To understand general concepts of Administration

 To enhance the office staff’s ability to manage and organize office
effectively and professionally
 File in the proper way and filing standard
 Develop an appropriate office management strategy
 Develop an appropriate assets management strategy
 Able to develop administrative procedures
 Able to plan and control administrative budget
 To facilitate the Employees with Food, Water and tea.

11. Sales and Marketing Department

Sales and marketing is vital for successful business growth. "Selling" or making
sales consists of interpersonal interaction-the one-on-one meetings, telephone
calls and networking-that you engage in with prospects and customers. The term
"marketing" encompasses programs businesses use to reach and persuade
prospects, including advertising, public relations, direct mail and more.

Main customers are HONDA, SUZUKI, and YAMAHA etc.
