To Whom It May Concern:

I am interested in the elementary-level teaching position in your school district. As a May 2018 graduate
of Baker College, I have student teaching experience on the third -grade level in a public school teaching
all subjects.

I believe my teaching experience and passion for student and community engagement make me an ideal candidate
for a teaching position at your school. I have many experiences working with the community within different
events. For example, as a student teacher, I assisted with several different school lock -ins and the school
carnival.

I have experience teaching elementary-level students in a variety of settings. I am currently teaching

third-grade children at a small public school. This school focuses on the “nurtured heart” approach. I also
have experience working within a first and second grade resource room, a fifth -grade general education
classroom, and a seventh-grade math classroom. The experience within fifth and seventh -grade
classrooms have been at larger public schools. Your school emphasizes its unique position as a school
that focuses on the “nurtured heart” approach, so I believe my varied experiences and positive attitude
will be valuable to your program.

It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic,

intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to your school district and community. I would
welcome an interview and hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Brooke Kofflin
