Dear Madam, Sir,

I am writing to apply for the Erasmus student exchange programme at your University. My name is
Natália Beďačová and I would like to spend next autumn semester of my study course at the Lathi
University of Applied Sciences in Finland. I am attending Palacky University in Czech Republic
at the study programme of Coaching and sport.

I would honor the opportunity if you accept me for the Erasmus programme, it would be my
pleasure to be a student at your University. Firstly it would definitely be a prospective for my
English skills in my department. I have been learning English as my first foreign language since
age of seven, and I believe that this experience at your University will improve a lot my knowledge
because I will get a chance to communicate with students in similar circumstances. I like your sport
facilities and social programme. Morover fascinates me that Lathi will organise Fis Nordic World
Ski Championships.

I have always wanted to visit countries like Finland, Norway and Sweden. I am grateful for
Erasmus programme which allows me visit these fascinating countries and get to know their culture
and language. Especially Lathi has fascinated me thank to nature and conditions for the sport. Lathi
scenery is incredible, I like waterway stretching from Lake Vesijärvi via the Vääksy Canal to Lake
Päijänne. Erasmus program is also excellent opportunity to meet new people around the world and
make contacts for the future.

I would be very grateful if you consider my application and give me a chance to participate in the
Erasmus programme at your University, which would mark my future professional and personal
development.I am independent, serious, hard working, responsible and interested in traveling. That
is the reason why I think I am very suitable candidate for the Erasmus program.
