4. PREHEAT TEMPERATURE IS MEASURED 75mm AWAY FROM BEVEL EDGE AND INTERPASS TEMPERATURE ON BEVEL EDGE.
5. IF REQUIERED, TACK WELDING SHALL BE PERFORMED AFTER PREHEAT OF THE PIPE BY QUALIFIED WELDERS, USING PARAMETERS OF THE ROOT PASS. BULLET
TACK WELDING MATERIAL TO BE MADE FROM BASE METAL MATERIAL.
6. FORCED AIR / WATER COOLING OF COMPLETED WELD FROM BELLOW 200°C MAY BE USED TO FACILITATE NDT EXAMIINATION.
