This article is about a very interesting incident that took place a few months ago

Twenty five years ago, a five-year-old German boy was traveling with his dad to
Denmark. He had nothing to do so he tossed a message in a bottle off the ship in
the Baltic Sea.
In this letter he wrote “My name is Frank. I am five years old. If you find this let-
ter, please write back to me and I will write back to you”. The letter included his
address.
A few months ago, a 13-year-old Russian boy was walking with his parents on a
beach when he saw something glittering in the sand. His father who knows some
German translated the letter. The Russian boy and the German man met each
other earlier this month with the help of a web cam.
I found it really interesting. We all know that our modern way of living is character-
ized by a lack of true friendship. We work a lot and we do not have enough time to
make friends. Most of the times, we don’t know who lives next door. However, in
the case of the two boys, a silly idea, a message in a bottle, brought together two
people from different countries. I think that a unique friendship connects these two
people who will remember this joke for the rest of their lives.
