Semester Project : 5th semester

BEE- 8 C&D
1. Dear Students I am proposing semester project for the next semester in 3-
categories
Cat-I : Easy , cost less and valid only for semester project
Cat-II: Will require more research and finance, with bit of enhancement can be turned
into an FYP
Cat-III: Will require extensive research work, the outcome has to be a final working
model, with practical applicability ; will need little more finance and can definitely
become FYP project
2. As we will have atleast 3-4 weeks before end-semester exams of this semester,
the students can come to me and understand what they would be required to do and
what kind of final product is expected from them
3. The summer vacations should be used to do literature survey and do through
research on the subject.
4. Once you come back from summer vacation, in the first Lab class you will
present your selected title, the research work done until then and the approach you are
going to follow and finally what kind of outcome/ product you intend to get
5. The students are at full liberty to select/Propose any other project, which may not
be in this list, but in the similar fashion they will have to present and defend it
6. The students can form groups (max of 3-students in a group)
7. A working knowledge on MATLAB and micro-controller will be added advantage

The purpose of this is to give you an idea of research, do practical work and prepare
you for a good FYP
