The regular meeting of the School Board of Jackson County Central Public Schools will be held on Monday, May
21st, 2018 in the boardroom at JCC High School at 5:30 p.m. Please be advised of the enclosed proposed agenda
and any appendixes, which may be attached.

Call meeting to order.

Members present: Holli Arp, Bradley Anderson, Rhonda Moore, Jeff Johnson, Tim Thurmer, Melonie Vancura, and
Amy Voss. (Circle those NOT present.) Also Ex-Officio Superintendent Todd Meyer and Business Manager Jim
Hoffbeck. Others present: Principals Larry Traetow, Chris Naumann, Tammy Timko, Joel Timmerman, and Dean of
Students/AD Eric Tvinnereim, other media.

Recognition of visitors to board meeting.


Members of the audience who wish to address the Board will be recognized at this time as per the protocol
posted. Members of the audience are reminded that this is a meeting of the Board of Education to conduct the
business of the school district in the public. Anyone wishing to address an issue not on the agenda is to contact
the Supt. or Board Chair in advance of the meeting.

Approve amended agenda as presented.

Approval of consent agenda


1. Approve regular board minutes from April 23rd as presented.
2. Approval of the bills (Revenues $2,077,904.25, Expenses $660,811.48, Net Payroll $485,708.39).
3. Approve grant of $10,000 from Twins Community Fund for Lakefield ball fields.
4. Approve donation of $2,500 from Monsanto Fund for JCC FFA.
5. Approve grant of $1,636 from PBIS for Southern Regional Implementation Project.
6. Approve donation of $670 from Brad & Meg Freking for JCC Middle School History Bee Registration.
7. Approve donation of $500 from Tri-State General Contracting for JCC Middle School’s 8th grade field trip.
8. Approve donation of $200 from Lakefield Kiwanis Club for History Bee Students traveling to Atlanta, Georgia.
9. Approve donation of $200 from Pleasantview’s PTO for Pleasantview’s 2nd grade field trip bus expenses.
10. Approve donation of $125 from Pleasantview’s PTO for the Pleasantview Elementary Fun Run.
11. Approve donation of $50 from Extended Ag Insurance Services, Inc. for the Riverside Elementary Fun Run.
12. Approve donation of $20 from Barb Egeland for the Riverside Elementary Fun Run.

9. Approve setting the JCC School District Breakfast and Lunch meal prices at the same amounts for 2018-19.

11. Approve moving the School Board Work Session from June 11th to June 6th at 5:30 p.m.

12. Approve JCC’s LTFM Plan for 2018-19 to 2028-29.
