I choose this location as it has a woodland and I wanted to use woodland for a scene for
the band videos and also where the main character gets shot. I wanted both the scenes
to be in the same place within the woodland so that it was like the band already knew
what was going to happen and was waiting for the main character to die in that location.
It was also important that I used a woodland you wouldn’t be able to see through to the
outside as this would ruin the immersion of the video.
It is forecast to be cloudy when I use this location which is good because if I perform
day to night filming, the sun beams through the trees could ruin how convincing it is.
All the videos of the actor playing the instruments and singing will be set in the woods
as well as the final scene where the actor gets shot.
Advantages of this location is that I will not need to get permission and alert the police
that I will be filming with a prop gun as the location is in hidden private land so there will
be no one calling in to report it. Another advantage is that equipment such as all the
band equipment is a lot safer on public land as there is no one to damage or steal it.
Disadvantages of this location is that the shade created by the woodland could cause
grain as the iso will need to be increased.
The weather is forecast to be about 13 degrees celsius, mostly cloudy and winds at a
speed of 17 km/h.

I have choose this location as it has many different areas that are available to film in.
These include a house, large garden, outhouses and long quiet roads and footpaths
outside.
The forecast is acceptable to be able to film in as there is not a high chance of rain or
high wind speeds.
Footage of most of the last verse will be shot here except the bits at the end and the
band videos which will be set in the woods at Ulceby. Also the very first part of the video
where the main character will be walking down a road and then knocking on a door will
be shot here as well.
Advantages of this location is that it has a large variety of settings that I can utilise if I
need any more scenes. A disadvantage of this location is the distance away it is from
me which could make finding travel difficult meaning delays could happen.
The weather is forecast to be about 12 degrees celsius with winds at speeds of 10
km/h.

I have chose this location as the rooms are big so this means I could effectively stage a
party for the main character to be at and make it look realistic.
I am not filming outside at this location so the date and times does not affect the shoot
as I have lighting so that when the natural light drops I can still record.
The scenes in the first chorus will all be filmed here except footage of the band.
Advantages of this location is that there is plenty of room to be able to record safely in
with many extras so it looks like a party. Disadvantages of this location is the distance it
is away from the extras and main actor which might make arranging filming difficult. This
could lead to delays in the production of the video.
