II. Job Descriptions
A. General Function
 Maintain or enhance the health of the patients and personnel by
providing them with highly quality and nutritious food through an
efficient Dietary Service.

B. Specific Functions

1 Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to
develop and implement dietary care plans and provide nutritional
counseling.
2 Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional
needs and diet restrictions f patients or client.
3 Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plan
and diet modification, and food selection.
4 Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional,
safety, sanitation and quality standards.
5 Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards
of palatability and appearance.
6 Supervise workers who plan, prepare and serve meals.
7 Actively participate and attend BCHI activities i.e. Brent Convo, flag
ceremony, foundation day, seminars, trainings, and workshops, among
others, unless excused by immediate superior/head.
