Level Pro Service Menu

This document provides instructions for accessing and configuring service menu settings on a LEVEL PRO machine. The service menus include options for hydraulic parameters, wire rope sensor settings, slope sensor settings, and more. Key settings in the hydraulic parameters menu include minimum and maximum current or pulse values for proportional valves, as well as current controller and valve calibration options. The wire rope and slope sensor menus allow adjusting proportional bands, dead bands, filtering, and offsets.

LEVEL PRO Settings (Service Menu)

General rules:
·0Change between menus with Set Up/Down keys
·1Change values with Act Up/Down keys
·2Reset values to default by holding Act Up and Act Dn keys (like resetting
set/act values)
·3Enter submenus with S key, leave with A key

To change into the Wirtgen Menu:

·4Change into Settings Menu with S key (sensor menu, S, PoS etc.)
·5Hold Set Up and Down keys pressed until display changes to SEt UP (2
seconds),
·6Press Set Up, Set Down, S keys in the given order => Display "Hy.P MEn"
(Hydraulik Menu).
·7Service Menus: "Hy.P" - hydraulic parameters, "Pot" - Wire Rope, "SLo" - Slope,
"Son" - Sonic, "LAS" - Prop Laser, "3D" - 3D Sensor, "SysV" - system version, "d"
- firmware date, "FwV" - firmware version, "HrS" - working hours, "n.St" -
number of starts, "Save" - save factory settings, "Load" - restore factory
settings

Hydraulik menu ("Hy.P") for proportional valves:

·8Hydraulic currents in A are in the following order: i.up (old symbol n_C)
MinCurrent Up, i.dn (old u_C) MinCurrent Down, I.up (old I_C) MaxCurrent Up,
I.dn (old U_C) MaxCurrent Down (n, u - small arrows, I, U - big arrows)
·9New menu names since ver. 3022: i.up, i.dn, I.up, I.dn
·10 Cylinder Up/Down in Hydraulik Parameter outputs immediately the set
current. Depending on the arrow (small/big) it will be the Min- or
MaxCurrent. Always check the current with Cylinder Up/Down in Hydraulik
Parameter Menu!
·11 "CAL OFF" - automatic min/max current calibration. Experimental, do
not use.
·12 "SPd" - speed menu. Experimental, do not use.
·13 CL.up (old until ver. 3021 "ICL") - current controller up, CL.dn (old "UCL")
- current controller down
·14 "SCAL OFF" - current controller calibration. Setting to ON will calibrate
all 4 current controllers. Recommended!
·15 "rS" - valve resistance in Ohm. Default 12 Ohm.
·16 "tAu" - valve time constant in ms. Default 25 ms.

Hydraulik menu ("Hy.P") for black/white valves:

·17 Hydraulic pulses in ms are in the following order: p.up (old n_P)
MinPulse Up, p.dn (old u_P) MinPulse Down, P.up (old I_P) MaxPulse Up, P.dn
(old U_C) MaxPulse Down (n, u - small arrows, I, U - big arrows)
·18 New menu names since ver. 3022: p.up, p.dn, P.up, P.dn
·19 Cylinder Up/Down in Hydraulik Parameter outputs immediately the
chosen pulse. Depending on the arrow (small/big) it will be the Min- or
MaxPulse. Always check the pulse with Cylinder Up/Down in Hydraulik
Parameter Menu!
·20 "FrE" - pulsing frequency, default 1.8 Hz
·21 "bS.P" - pulse boost, default 250%. At this value of controlled output
(100% corresponds to PropBand) additional boost outputs will be activated
·22 CL.up (old "ICL") - current controller up, CL.dn (old "UCL") - current
controller down - see above. Currently not used in pulse mode.

"Pot" - Settings for Wire Rope (Grade) sensor

·23 Pb.1 - Proportional Band when S=1. Default 0.6 cm
·24 Pb.9 - Proportional Band when S=9. Default 3.5 cm
·25 Db.1 - Dead Band when S=1. Default 0.1 cm
·26 Db.9 - Dead Band when S=9. Default 0.0 cm
·27 FGF - Filter Frequency. Default 15 Hz
·28 OFF - Offset. When sensor connected, raw value without offset is
displayed in "Set", value with offset in "Act"

"SLo" - Settings Slope

·29 Pb.1 - Proportional Band when S=1. Default 2.0%
·30 Pb.9 - Proportional Band when S=9. Default 4.0%
·31 Db.1 - Dead Band when S=1. Default 0.2%
·32 Db.9 - Dead Band when S=9. Default 0.1%
·33 FGF - Filter Frequency. Default 0.9 Hz. You can try to change it up to 8.0
Hz with old mechanical sensor, up to 1.0-1.2 with new fluid sensor
·34 OFF - Offset. When sensor connected, raw value without offset is
displayed in "Set", value with offset in "Act"
