II – Learning/Insights:
Assigned in community especially in a far-flung coastal area is quite
challenging. There are so many things to consider most esp. the WEATHER status.
However I considered this task as an opportunity to help and guide the
healthy individual to achieve optimum wellness and assisting sick individual to
become healthy through health promotion and disease prevention.
I learned how to maintain interpersonal relationship with the individual in the
community as well as the BHW assigned in the area and how to maintain team
working with the colleagues.
III – Issues and Concerns Encountered
Shortage of IODIZED OIL capsule for pregnant women.
IV – Recommendation:
I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to my co-NDP’s spending their
precious time for helping me in reaching out the community to attain the
communities health care needs.Thank you to all RHU staff for the productive
experiences.Thank you DOH for the opportunity as 1 of NDP’S serving my
motherland. For I believe that, serving motherland is a great contribution in raising
the level of Citizenry by helping communities and families to cope with the
discontinuities in and threats to health in such a way as to maximize their potential
for HIGH-LEVEL WELLNESS.
