ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES OF RESCUE TEAM.

AIM:
To observe the roles & responsibilities of rescue team.

DESCRIPTION:
Roles & responsibilities:
 To search & rescue occupants/victims in the event of emergency
situation.
 To lead occupants/victim to the assembly area.
 Report status to emergency commander.
 Co-ordinate further response actions with incident commander & other
response teams.
 Responsible for evacuating persons away from any hazards.
 Responsible for attending the scene of the reported emergency.
 Responsible for implementing emergency procedures as prescribed in
the emergency plan & procedures.
 To be competent in performing CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
& first aid procedures in the event of an emergency.
 To be crystal clear in evacuation & safety precautions in rescue
operations.
 Communicate & co-ordinate with the fire fighting team in the event of
rescue operation.
 To be competent in using the Personal protective equipment, respiratory
protective equipment.
 To be physically & mentally fit to perform the rescue operation.
 To make strategic decisions during an emergency situation.
 To ensure that all personnel with in their area of responsibility are trained
for their role in an emergency situation.

RESULT:
Thus the roles & responsibilities of rescue team was observed.
