- Measure angles in a polygon.
1. INDUCTION- Teacher introduces the lesson by showing a video.

- The video explains what an angle measure is.
- How to measure angles with a protractor
- How to draw angles with protractor.
Teacher asks pupils to relate the topics in real life situation.
Teacher tells the pupils that they will be demonstrating the different angles that
just discussed by using their arms. Pupils use arms to show right angle, acute
angle and obtuse angle.
2. ACTIVITY 1: THINK PAIR SHARE
- Teacher demonstrates how to measure angles with a protractor. Pupils do
TEACHING & LEARNING hands-on activity using the 3D shapes.
ACTIVITIES 3. ACTIVITY 2 : I -THINK MAP (TREE MAP)
- Pupils complete the tree map by writing the types of angles.
4. ACTIVITY 3 : GROUP ACTIVITIES (PRESENTATION)
- Pupils measure angles for regular and irregular polygons. Pupils write the
number of degrees measured by their protractor for the angle.
- Teacher walk around as they work and provide verbal feedback.
- After completion of the activity, collect all the paper and put on the board to
display. (GALLERY WALK)
5. CLOSURE
- Discuss and check answers for further understanding.
- Exercise : Pupils carry out the exercise in the textbook.
