CLERK, SUPERIOR COURTCOUNT 2 ‘And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of MURDER, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, unlawfully and with malice aforethought cause the death of Carey A. Heidt, a human being, by shooting said victim with a shotgun, a deadly weapon, contrary to the laws of this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof. COUNT 3 And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, make an assault upon the person of Linda Heidt, with intent to murder by shooting said victim with a shotgun, contrary to the laws of this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof, COUNT 4 And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behaff of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, make an assault upon the person of Linda Heidt, with a deadly weapon, to wit: a shotgun, by shooting said victim with said shotgun, contrary to the laws of this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof. COUNT 5 ‘And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behaff of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of AGGRAVATED BATTERY, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, maliciously cause bodily harm to the person of Linda Heidt by seriously disfiguring her body by shooting her in the head with a shotgun and seriously disfiguring her jaw, contrary to the laws of this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.COUNT 6 ‘And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of BURGLARY, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, without authority and with the intent to commit a felony, to wit: MURDER, therein, enter the dwelling house of another, to wit: Philip and Linda Heidt, located at 2954 Springfield Egypt Road, contrary to the laws of this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof. COUNT 7 And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of BURGLARY, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, without authority and with the intent to commit a felony, to wit: ARSON, therein, enter the dwelling house of another, to wit: Philip and Linda Heidt, located at 2954 Springfield Egypt Road, contrary to the laws of this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof. COUNT 8 And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of CRIMINAL ATTEMPT TO COMMIT ARSON IN THE FIRST DEGREE, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, attempt to commit the crime of ARSON IN THE FIRST DEGREE, in violation of O.C.G.A. § 16-7-60 in that the said accused did knowingly and intentionally perform an act which constituted a substantial step toward the commission of said ‘crime, to wit: poured gasoline over the floor of the dwelling house of Philip and Linda Heidt located at 2954 Springfield Egypt Road, contrary to the laws of this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof. COUNT 9 And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR KNIFE DURING COMMISSION OF CERTAIN CRIMES, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, have on his person a firearm, to wit: a shotgun, during the commission of a crime, to wit! MURDER, said crime being against the person of another, to wit: Philip Heidt, and which crime was a felony, contrary to the laws of. this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.‘COUNT 10 And the grand jurors aforesaid, in the name and on behaif of the citizens of Georgia, further charge and accuse Craig Heidt with having committed the offense of POSSESSION OF A. FIREARM OR KNIFE DURING COMMISSION OF CERTAIN CRIMES, for that the said Craig Heidt did in the county aforesaid on August 25, 2008, have on his person a firearm, to wit: a shotgun, during the commission of a crime, to wit, MURDER, said crime being against the person of another, to wit: Carey Heidt, and which crime was a felony, contrary to the laws of this state, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.
