Data 1 FT1 (LPM) FT2 (LPM) VH (m3/s) VC (m3/s) H (KG/S) C (KG/S) U (kW/m3.K)

This document contains data from two experiments that tested different flow rates of hot (FT1) and cold (FT2) fluids through a heat exchanger. In the first experiment (Data 1), flow rates of hot and cold fluids were varied between 2-10 LPM and efficiency ranged from 14.4-8.38% as flow rates increased. In the second experiment (Data 2), the cold fluid flow rate was held at 10 LPM while the hot fluid rate was varied, resulting in higher maximum heat transfer rates but lower efficiencies ranging from 5.25-2.58% compared to the first experiment.
