2 What Is A Will

A will is a legally enforceable document that dictates how a person's (called a testator or testatrix) assets are distributed after their death. For a will to be valid in Singapore, the testator must be at least 21 years old, of sound mind, and not bankrupt at the time of signing. They must understand what property they own, who will benefit, and how. The will must also be in writing and signed to meet legal requirements.
