Care Home Management: Applying the 6Cs

The document discusses the six C's - Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - which were established in the Compassion in Practice strategy to build a culture of compassionate care across the NHS. It provides examples of how each of the six C's can be applied in practice, such as treating service users with respect, keeping up to date on training, listening to service users, having the courage to speak up if something is wrong, and committing to work as a team. The document asks readers to share ideas for implementing the six C's in their own organizations and discusses existing strategies.
