Roxtec in hazardous
area installations
Several Roxtec products are certified to
EEx e II standards and can be used in
electrical installations in hazardous areas
where explosive mixtures of gas and air
can be present. The certified products are
marked with EEx e II labels. See other
side for more information.
Roxtec offers an area efficient and easy
handled system. The possibility to route
pre-terminated cables through the frames
saves a lot of time. The G and SF frames
in EEx versions have drilled holes in the
flange for bolting and a matching sealing
gasket. Since the S frame was designed
to be welded into the construction a
correct welding is required.
No other changes have been made to
the products. The use of Roxtec’s system
still guarantees the same flexibility and Certified frames, for use in electrical installations in
