Contingency Plan: If both gymnasiums are taken or occupied, we will do the lesson in the dance studio or if the weather is nice outside.
Reflection:
Overall, I think that our lesson plan went well. I thought the progression of the lesson was good with having the students practice tossing the Frisbees to each other,
to a stationary target, and in a game setting. However, I believe that we could’ve done some things differently. I think I could have given more feedback while
students were practicing, and incorporated more fitness into the lesson. At the end of the lesson when students were playing the game we were not as prepared to
have fewer students. We were planning on having an even number of students being there so we could have games going down the court. Instead of that happening,
we just had one game doing on while the other students practiced throwing the Frisbee. I think that was a fine idea, the only thing I would’ve changed was having a
timer set so each group had an equal amount of time to play. I would’ve set the timer set for 8 minutes each so each group had enough time. I also think that we
should’ve incorporated more fitness into the lesson. We could’ve added some type of exercise in while students were practicing throwing the Frisbees such as
running, squats, push-ups or set-ups.
