Hello Nurse Recruiter,

My name is Madalyn Crouch and I am writing to inform you of my interest in joining your spring
2019 new grad nursing program at a Banner facility in the Phoenix area. I will be graduating in
December 2018 from The University of Arizona’s (UA) College of Nursing with a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing degree and have upheld a 3.6 GPA throughout my rigorous academic
program at the UA. I wish to join the Banner care team as Banner’s mission statement,
“Making health care easier, so life can be better” resonates with me as Banner’s staff
continuously collaborate and strive to improve services and patient outcomes for the patient’s
overall healthcare experience.

I have a strong passion for serving as a RN in the ICU setting as I enjoy the pathophysiology and
complexity of directly working with ICU patients and dedicating my energy to providing optimal
care to them and their families. I recently completed a 180-hour preceptorship at Banner in
Tucson AZ on unit 3E, an intermediate care unit, caring for up to five acutely ill patients,
thereby fostering my abilities of time management and critical thinking all while upholding a
patient centered approach. I strongly believe my clinical experiences gained throughout my
nursing academic program will make me a great addition to the Banner team! (add more to
paragraph 2).

I am committed to applying my knowledge and skills to provide focused care that is enriched in
evidence and as a nurse, am committed to continuous learning throughout my career. I am
looking forward to hearing from you and can be reached via email at
madalyncrouch@email.arizona.edu or by telephone at (623) 337-2578.
Thank you very much for your consideration of my application.

Best regards,

Madalyn Crouch
