teaching the Science, Math and Social Studies Tasks the
students were completing.

o Rideau Park Elementary School Kindergarten/Grade One
–Taught letters/counting, Math, Gym, Identity Crafts,
and Science Dioramas.
- Practicum Semester 2
o Crowsnest Consolidated High School ELA 20-1 and 30-
2 as well as a Film Studies course with students ranging
from Grade 10-12. Taught English Language Arts with a
focus on poetry and mythology as well as The Crucible.
Taught Film Studies with a focus on technique, director’s
choices and historical importance. Also took part in the
QSA club that met at lunch.
- Practicum Semester 3
o William Aberhart High School ELA 10-1 and 20-1 –
Taught two full semester courses delving into the Grade
10 curriculum of the human condition and individuality,
as well as delving into the Grade 11 curriculum of power
and society. Also took part in the Leadership Club, Film
Club, and Board Game Café over lunches.

2005 - Present Theatre Manager
Cineplex, Paramount Chinook
- Supervisor of a team which requires the delegation of tasks,
organization, inventory checks and ordering, cash handling, food
preparation, and guest service
- Interviewed and hired staff
- Developed the schedule for over 150 staff members weekly
- Started as an entry level team member and was quickly
promoted to supervisor and subsequently to theatre manager

- Organized client files and helped close finished files
- Mail deliveries and stock organization
- Part Time Reception: answering phones; organizing meetings,
preparing boardrooms for clients and ordering food.
2013 Front Line Services Manager
The Calgary International Film Festival
- Recruited and scheduled over 200 volunteers for 20 days of
volunteer work
- Hired and scheduled eight box office staff members and two
venue managers (my previous role with the festival) for the ten
days of the festival
- Maintained the box office system after set up to ensure that
tickets were sold and people were attending films
- Kept track of box office sales, attendee numbers and payroll
- Kept to a budget, organized my own tools and needs within that
budget assigned to me by the Festival Director
- Talked to thousands of people in theatres or line-ups to inform
them of changes in movies or introduce the shows
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERING
2009, 2011 - Present Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo
- Volunteered as a Media Guest Host which required looking after
the celebrity for the duration of their involvement at the Comic
Expo
- Ensured that the Guest of the Expo had food and water and kept
them entertained between fan interactions
- Handled autograph signings including monetary transactions
- Able to handle last minute changes in schedules as well as keep
calm in stressful situations
2011 - 2013 President, Harry Potter Quidditch Club,

- Organizing events, parties, matches, games and meetings for
over 100 people
