Oxford University's football Blues dominated large parts of the first half against Loughborough but only led 1-0 at halftime thanks to a goal by Dom Thelen. In the second half Loughborough equalized shortly after halftime and took the lead but Oxford equalized through Chris Caveney to make it 2-2, which is how the game ended despite Oxford's continued pressure. The Blues dropped two points despite controlling much of the game but failed to convert their chances into more goals.
