Lesson Reflection 4

On October 15th, the teacher had a lesson on subtracting 3-digit numbers that was observed by her mentor teacher. She began by reviewing subtraction processes and modeling examples. The students understood the lesson quickly and participated well. During the lesson, the teacher assessed understanding by asking questions and gave a short quiz at the end.  Lesson reflection 4

On 15 of October, it is the day MST observe me. I feel


scared at the begging of the lesson, but when I start, I feel
more comfortable. My lesson was about the subtraction of
3-digit number. I began my lesson by reviewing the process
that they took in mathematics, and I model some different
examples about the subtraction of 3 digit numbers. In this
lesson, the students were so quiet, they understand the
lesson quickly, I discuss with them about their answers,
and I asked them if they have another way to solve the
equation. Moreover, in this lesson, I assess the student by
asking them during the lesson, and I gave students a short
quiz. Lastly, as I am a future teacher, I would like to link
my lesson to real life and make the lesson more enjoyable
that can all the students understand well.
