1. Y ou can trav el on e-ticket sent on SMS or take a Virtual Reserv ation Message (VRM) along with any one of the prescribed
ID in original. Please do not print the ERS unless extremely necessary . This Ticket will be v alid with an ID proof in original.
Please carry original identity proof . If f ound trav eling without original ID proof , passenger will be treated as without ticket and
charged as per extent Railway Rules.
2. Only conf irmed/RAC/Partially conf irmed E-ticket is v alid f or trav el.Fully Waitlisted E-ticket is inv alid f or trav el if it
remains f ully waitlisted af ter preparation of chart and the ref und of the booking amount shall be credited to the account used
f or pay ment f or booking of the ticket. Trav elling on a f ully waitlisted e-ticket is illegal.
3. Valid IDs to be presented during train journey by one of the passenger booked on an e-ticket :- Voter Identity Card /
Passport / PAN Card / Driv ing License / Photo ID card issued by Central / State Gov t / Public Sector Undertakings of State /
Central Gov ernment ,District Administrations , Municipal bodies and Panchay at Administrations which are hav ing serial
number / Student Identity Card with photograph issued by recognized School or College f or their students / Nationalized Bank
Passbook with photograph /Credit Cards issued by Banks with laminated photograph/Unique Identif ication Card "Aadhaar", m-
Aadhaar, e-Aadhaar. /Passenger showing the Aadhaar/Driv ing Licence f rom the "Issued Document" section by logging into
his/her DigiLocker account considered as v alid proof of identity . (Documents uploaded by the user i.e. the document in
"Uploaded Document" section will not be considered as a v alid proof of identity ).
