Dear Parent/Carer
On Thursday 21st of February, we will be travelling by Mackay Transit Coaches to and from Cape Hillsborough
National Park north of Mackay as part of our Geography unit on environments and how they impact people.
We will be leaving the school premises at 9:00am sharp to ensure that we arrive in time to start our guided tour. We
will have our healthy snack when we arrive prior to starting the tour. All children/parents MUST bring along their
packed lunch, broad brimmed hat and water bottle.
The children will be walking the designated track of the National park. We will split into small groups to ensure
children have sufficient time to engage with the activities planned and are constantly supervised during the trip.
For further information about the activity, please contact the school on 49 477 777
Yours sincerely
