SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS

COC 1: INSTALL AND CONFIGURE COMPUTER SYSTEMS (2 Hours)

1. List all materials needed.


2. Disassemble & Assemble the Computer System (GIVEN PC).
3. Create Windows Server 2008 R2 Bootable USB Drive on Standby PC.
4. Install Network Operating System (NOS) and Motherboard Drivers on Given PC.
5. Install Application Software on Given PC.

COC 2: SET-UP COMPUTER NETWORK (2.5 Hours)

1. List all materials needed.


2. Draw Physical Lay-out showing devices and cabling.
3. Create a patch cables & install based on network lay-out design.
4. Set network configuration.

COC 3: SET-UP COMPUTER SERVERS (1.5 Hours)

1. Set Peer to Peer File Sharing.


2. Adding Server Roles.
 Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
 DNS Server
 DHCP Server
 File Services
 Remote Desktop Services
 Print & Document Services

COC 4: MAINTAIN AND REPAIR COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS

4. Rectify/correct defects in computer systems and networks.
