What is FUT Champs?
- A Sir John A. Macdonald organized FIFA event
- A FIFA tournament that will be taking place in the
cafeteria during lunch hours of Sir John A. Macdonald
- A free or possible admission event with sign ups in the
foyer and online

Mission
Statement
Why?
We want to bring Sjam students together in a fun
competitive environment to meet new people who
share similar interests.

How Does this Benefit SJAM?
- We are bringing people with similar interests
together
- We are introducing students to new activities they
might not have tried otherwise
- Provides students with something to do during break
giving them a change of environment

Planning Steps
1. Approval from Athletic Leadership
2. Printing Posters
3. Setting up TV
4. Creating sign up Google Forum
5. Create Snapchat for Q&A and community
6. Preparing materials required
7. Conferencing with VP, Hall Monitors, and other leaders
8. Run Event with group and volunteers
9. Announce Winners of the tournament

Rules
- All players must have a partner (2 v 2)
- If you do not have a partner we will get you one
- Real teams only, Fake teams such as classic XI, adidas
all stars etc. not allowed
- If you miss your session it is a forfeit, unless there is a
valid reason and you let us know in advance
- The postpone day is Thursday.

Tournament Format

Scheduling
● 1 Month Before Event
○ Marketing preparation including word of mouth, putting up posters, using
school tv’s, posting on SJAM’s IG & Twitter, person-to-person confrontation
● 2 Weeks Before Event:
○ Marketing preparation same as Week 1, with new posts and posters!
○ Creating teams for tournament
● 1 Week Before Event:
○ Finalize teams for tournament, Emphasize last day to sign up is FRIDAY of the
week before tournament starts
○ Create bracket for tournament (which teams play who)
● Week of Event
○ Event run every lunch
○ Event can last longer than a week depending on number of sign ups

- A4 Posters around all floors of school
- Includes Dates, Snapchat, Location
- Marketing on all Sjams TVs
- Word of Mouth
- Talking 1 on 1 to get new people that haven't played
the game
- Sign ups in the Foyer
