     Courts of general jurisdiction (RTC)
     or involving elective Barangay
     Officials decided by trial courts of
     limited jurisdiction (MTC).
    Decide on        questions    affecting
     elections
    Deputize law enforcement agencies
    Register       political     parties,
     organizations or coalitions, accredit
     citizens’ arms
    File petitions in court for the
     inclusion or exclusion of voters
    Recommend measures to minimize
     election spending
    Recommend removal of officer or
     employee          and         submit
     comprehensive report
