Relocation Project

This document summarizes a project to evaluate relocating the distribution center for Farmasa-Schwabe México. The current location in Tultitlan has several operational challenges, including two separate warehouse buildings 120 meters apart, insufficient space, and flooding issues. A market analysis found that competitors are moving their distribution centers north. To define relocation needs, over 900 pallet locations would be needed to support current and projected inventory levels over 10 years. The document recommends relocating to a new, improved single-site distribution center with specifications that address the current location's deficiencies.
