What is WebOS ?
Stands for Web Operating Systems
WebOS turns your desktop into a service that runs
on the Internet rather than on your local computer.
Web operating system is an interface service
through which a user can access his computer
data remotely anywhere on any computer and in
any part of earth where internet in available.
In one line We have internet on computer. So,
WebOS is computer on the internet

History of eyeOS
First publicly available eyeOS version was released on
1st august 2005 an eyeOS 0.6.0 in barcelona(Spain).
After two year eyeOS team published eyeOS 1.0
(on 4th june,2007) and some new technology add in
New version like eyesoft, a portable based web
software installing system. eyeOS also include the
eyeOS toolkit.
Version 1.2 was Released just a few months after the
1.0 version and integrated full compatibility with
Microsoft word files.

Version 1.5 Gala Released on January 15,2008
This version is the first to support both microsoft office
and Openoffice.org file format for documents,
presentation and spreadsheets. it also ability to import
and export document in both formats using server side
scripting.
Version 1.6 was Released on April 25,2008 and
include many improvement such a synchronization with
local computer drag and drop, a mobile version and more.
Version 1.8 was Released on January 7,2009 and
featured a completely rewritten file manager and new
sound API to develop media rich application

2009 with an interface for the iphone and a
new version of a eyeMail with support for
POP3 and IMAP

2009 with classic desktop interface.
