Motivation: Presented By: Jyoti Poddar

Motivation is defined as an internal drive or desire that gives rise to and directs goal-oriented behaviors. It results from both conscious and unconscious factors, including the intensity of one's needs and desires, the incentive or reward value of the goal, and one's own expectations and those of peers. Motivation causes a person to want to repeat a behavior or avoid it. For example, a student may study harder for a test because they want a better grade.
