• I'm the girl who's instantly
offered whitening facials in a salon
even if I go to get my moustache waxed..
• You see, I'm suffering from a disease
”Kaala Rang”.
• Which brings me to the question,
who keeps this obsession with gori
rangat alive in our society?

The Never-Ending White Skin Dilemma In
Pakistan:
• “Shakal dekhi hai apni? Kitni kaali hogayi ho.
• This happened with a 17-year-old girl, when a woman
decided to discuss her skin color.
• “Itni creamein milti hain. Dhoop ne rung barbaad kardia hai
tumhara.
• The only way to getting ‘good marriage proposals’ is by not
being “kaali”.
• So teenage girls should just keep their books aside, and work
on their skin color.
