SOLAR POWER INSTALLATION
• Solar irradiance (SI) is the power per unit area received
from the Sun in the form of electromagnetic radiation in
the wavelength range of the measuring instrument.
The solar irradiance integrated over time is called solar
irradiation, insolation, or solar exposure.
Irradiance
• Average solar irradiance is 5.4 kWh/m2/day
The following figures show the solar radiation intensity
on a horizontal surface (blue), on a vertical surface (red),
and on a surface perpendicular to the sunlight (black).
Latitudes and Longitudes of Sialkot are 70.8750 and 31
respectively. Optimum tilt angle calculated with respect to these
values comes about 27.88o from app

• If I installed the solar panels on the roof of first floor, there will be main issue
of hindrance of sunrays reaching the solar panel due to our own second floor
and also neighboring houses.
• It will be good if it is installed on the rooftop of second floor. So there will be
no hindrance for sunrays.
