Production /Operation Management is the process
combine s and transform various resources used in
the production / operation subsystem of the
organization into valued added products/services in a
controlled manner as per the policies of the
organization. Therefore, it is that part of an
organization, which is concerned with the
transformation of a range of input into the required
(product/services) having the requisite quality level.

in the form of goods and services by transforming inputs in to

 Is defined as a user of resources to transform inputs into
some desired outputs

Operation Definition:
 Operation are purposeful actions or activities which are
done methodically s part of plan of the work by a person
that is designed to achieve the pre-decided objectives

Is defined as a user of resources to transform
inputs into some desired outputs

and Continuous Production systems.

(stage) you have an idea and are exploring the feasibility of
building a technology product or service based on that idea
