A Presentation ON "CCNA" FOR Industrial Training (V Semester)

This presentation provides an overview of CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification for an industrial training course. It discusses networking concepts like types of networks (WAN, MAN, LAN, PAN), IP addressing, the OSI model, routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF), and concludes with the student's experience gaining hands-on learning during an 8 week summer training at the Centre For Electronic Governance. The presentation aims to inform students about networking, its applications, and the importance of resource sharing through networking.

2. IP address is a numerical label assigned to each device participating in a
computer network.
3. IP address is unique for every network.
4. Two versions of IP address used in the internet today are IPv4 and IPv6.
5. Function of IP address is that it identifies the host and provides the
location of host in the network.

Model
Routing

networks.
2. There are three types of Routing :
i. Default Routing
ii. Static Routing
iii. Dynamic Routing
Network Protocol
 A network protocol is a set of established rules that dictates how to format,
transmit and receive data.

Conclusion
• The Summer training at CEG was an exclusive
opportunity for me to learn something new. Across
eight weeks, I honed my technical skills, in which I
explored, prototyped, and built an innovation
opportunity. The staff at ceg supported my journey
through daily, weekly, hands-on practice sessions
and real-world deliverables.
