perform safety procedures and techniques in removing stains on
furniture per standard operating procedure
TYPES OF FURNITURES
Living Room Furnitures
Living room is a place of comfort and love where we share
times with beloved ones. That gives us enough reason to
search for just the perfect living room furniture’s. There are
many kinds of living room furniture’s.
Sofa bed
This is the new alternative for
couch and sofas.
Sectional
furniture
This kind of furniture includes
several items. They all come in
complementary form.
Ottoman
This is a famous kind. It has no
back or arm. People use it for
their feet, and some other even
use them as decorative tables.
End table
Commonly, you place it near to
or on the side of a chair, or sofa
and couch. The original function
it to host the reading or table
lamps.
Curio cabinet
Unlike other cabinets, this one
has glass doors commonly. If
not, they do not have doors at
all.
Dining room

These tables are designed to be
used for formal dining.
Bed side table
These are small tables used in
a bedroom. Also known as
nightstands, or night tables. .
China Cabinet
It is a piece of furniture
resembling a cupboard with
doors and shelves and drawers
that holds fine chinaware.
Cupboard
It is a type of storage cabinet, often made of wood,
used indoors to store household items such as
food, crockery, textiles and liquor, and protect
them from dust and dirt.
Dresser
A piece of furniture with
drawers, usually with a mirror
on top, used especially for
keeping clothes and
accessories. The top of the
dresser is used to display
cosmetics, and other dressing
accessories.
Gate Leg
They have one or two hinged
leaves supported by hinged
legs.
Coffee tables
These are low tables designed
for use in living room, in front of
a sofa, for convenient
placement of drinks, books, or
other personal items.
Refectory tables
These are long tables designed
to seat many people for meals.
Workbenches
These are sturdy tables, often
elevated for use with a high
stool or while standing.
Nested tables
These are sets of small tables
of graduated size that can be
stacked together.

TYPES OF FURNITURES
Gothic
It was heavily carved and decorated,
characterized by columns, cut-outs and
extravagant tracery.
Renaissance
The Renaissance period began
in France in the 13th century
and lasted until the 17th
century.
Tudor
during the Tudor era was very
large and carved, with many
straight lines.
Jacobean
Replacing the Tudor style, Jacobean
furniture was mainly made from oak
and the legs on tables and chairs
were often twisted.
Rococo
This furniture style was
excessive, elaborate, fanciful,
made use of curves.
Art Nouveau
It was an ornate and delicate furniture
style that often featured long and curved
lines.
Scandinavian
This type of furniture is characterized by simple
but quality craftsmanship using lightweight
material such as plywood
Neoclassical
Influenced by archaeological
discoveries in the 18th century
countries such as Greece and
ltaly.
Country
This furniture style is created by
craftsmen influenced by the old-
fashioned and traditional styles
rather than any modern
movements
Japanese
Traditional Japanese décor
styles are minimalist, with little
furniture used in a room.
Upholstered Furniture
1. Remove any loose dirt from the upholstery.
2. Vacuum the furniture.
3. Make a detergent mixture.
4. Test the detergent mixture in an inconspicuous spot.
5. Scrub the detergent mixture into all of the upholstery.
6. Vacuum the furniture regularly
