• Word order refers to the way words are arranged in a sentence
Basic word order
1. Subject + verb + object
He loves cat
2. Subject + verb + Object + direct object + Indirect object
The doctor gave some medicine to the child
3. Subject + verb + object + indirect object + direct object
The doctor gave the child some medicine
• Adverb / adverb phrase
1. Adverb+ Subject+ Verb + object (before subject)
At the end of March the weather was rather cold
