ICT as Medium for Advocacy and Developmental Communication
ICT develops the way we communicate, the way we engages stakeholders
and policy makers, establishes conducive environments, assesses risk and
opportunities, and promotes information exchanges to bring about
positive social change. it aims to be heard and create change towards to
our society and also it has many ways by creating blogs that relates to any
issues in our country and any platforms to let other people know of the
real possibility that might happen in our society. The use of ICT tools and
platforms is to know that when ICT is not that popular before so other
people only use letters or radio etc. to be update and to know the situation
happenings.
That was before after decades ICT become famous and it took of many
people to use it in there daily life. it is a big help for everyone it has many
users worldwide. It is a great instrument in spreading such things. It can
be a medium for advocacy like giving information in every tragedy., It
can easily spread through social media because it has many users. It can
be in a developmental communication because there are many ways on
how to possibly spread information. After spreading, you will know how
far it goes and its growth on the social media by looking at the number of
views it covered. It has the exchange of ideas and its shares on the social
media. A great way in giving awareness to everybody by using gadgets
such as smart phones and etc.
The social power of social media
Social media can be an awesome environment to encourage
each other, communicate with people and share our stories.
Social media gives us a chance to reconnect and keep up with old
friends and friends that live far away. It gives us the opportunity to
share our stories and get our opinions out there.
Digital citizenship and the
Filipino people
Being a good digital citizen is more than knowing your way
around the web. It’s about connecting and collaborating in ways
you didn’t even know were possible. This Digital citizenship helps
the teachers, technology leaders and also the parents to guide
their students and children using digital technologies, it helps
them to use it properly and it is more than a teaching tool for
beginners. It is the rule to use technologies properly and
responsibly. It is also a norms that can define the proper and
responsible behavior regard to the use of technology. 
Digital Citizenship simply talks about the online etiquette of every
people using it. It is the one who help us to use the internet
properly and correctly. It also talks about communicating other
online that can lead to a better learnings and can be use in the
future.
