LILLY WOMEN SECURITY APPLICATION
INTRODUCTION
The Women safety is the prime concern in todays world considering the jump in the number of incidents
and crime rates against women, especially in the metro cities where women have to stay out for long.
As women need to travel late night sometimes, it is very important to stay alert and safe.
Most of the females nowadays carry their smartphones with themselves, so it is necessary to have at
least one of the safety app installed. Such a safety app for girls can certainly help in someway or the
other.
AIM OF THE PROJECT
In today’s world, people using smart phones have increased rapidly and hence, a smart phone can be used
efficiently for personal security or various other protection purposes.
The heinous incident that outraged the entire nation have waken us to go for the safety issues and so a host of new
apps have been developed to provide security systems to women via their phones.
This Application for the Safety of Women and this app can be activated this app by a single click, whenever need
arises.
A single click on this app identifies the location of place through GOOGLE GEO LOCATION and sends a SMS
message comprising this location to the registered contacts.
OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT
As an independent nation, we must ensure respect and security of women and we cannot deny them this basic right.
It is now time to initiate action to eradicate the menace of security issues with women.
Violence against women remains embedded in our societies, both as a daily reality and a difficult situations
Comparing to existing computerized system, our system is gives more security and also System gives better
user friendly environment for the users.
When she press sos button the mobile this system will sends message to the all registered contacts.
EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing system is the manual system. Need to be converted into automated system.
The women have to dial a number to call a police or send SMS to the particular subscribed code.
After they received the service they will get in touch with you later and there is no time to make a call or
SMS.
There are also so many volunteer organizations all over the world to help them, but they could not able to
get those messages.
DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM
Less User-friendly
If there is bad network, it waits for the location and it takes time.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system helps women to send SMS message along with location details to the guardian numbers
immediately by any one of the following ways
• Just by clicking the notification panel.
• By shaking the phone
• By pressing the volume button.
And we will be sending SMS to the relatives of the concerned persons about the schedule their current
location of the concerned person that time.
So that they will come to know about the status and if something is wrong, we will be having another set of
oppositions to give a call to police, social workers, volunteer organizations, etc.
Users will also be able to adjust the sensitivity level of the phone.
Even If the user is not in a 4g network area, user will be able to send SMS message immediately and when the
device comes in a network area it will automatically send the location details.

Home Menu Add Guardian
On click, the app will return back to On click, add guardian screen will get loaded,
home screen from any screen where you can add your guardian’s mobile
numbers

Add Guardian Screen
You can add the Guardian’s mobile no’s in here, to inform
them in case of emergency. First Mobile No will ‘Call as well
as SMS’. This Mobile No is must to proceed further.
If you choose CALL, then it will CALL the first mobile
number which you have provided.
If you choose SMS, then it will send SMS to all the mobile
number’s which you have provided and the SMS will have
the location information, through which guardian can view
your location using google map.

In home screen you can activate/deactivate the security. You
can activate the security in 3 ways.
• Volume Key Security
• Security via notification
• Shake mobile for security

ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE SECURITY
Activating Volume Key Security
Click on the switch button near ‘Volume Key Security’ to activate this. If you are
alone somewhere or in a journey, you can activate this for your security.
In case of any emergency, Just PRESS VOLUME KEY, the app will inform your
guardian as per the communication mode (Inform Via) provided.

Click on the switch button near ‘Security Once this is activated, If you shake your mobile (On
via Notification’ to activate this. If you meeting the sensitivity of shaking which you provide)
are alone somewhere or in a journey you the App will inform to your guardian as per the
can activate this for your security communication mode (Inform Via) you provided.
It will work on both LOCKED/ UNLOCKED screen.
CONCLUSION
This is the Android Application for women security system which is very useful application mainly for girl’s
safety. We can send our location to our family members and police stations by shaking mobile, pressing
volume down arrow, or from notification panel.
Overall system work for the safety of the women.
System is user friendly.
