BACKGROUND OF
THE STUDY Figure 1: This figure shows the (1) diversity of tree species. It illustrates
where the trees are, what kind of trees they are, and how pollution
impacts the area that trees are in. (2) The environmental state of trees is
CONCEPTUAL impacted by their abundance. The more trees there are, the more they can
improve the environment and contribute to global humidity levels,
FRAMEWORK healthy soils, and environmental improvements. (3) The growth and
development of organisms can be impacted by environmental conditions.
STATEMENT OF THE
PROBLEM
TITLE END
This study aims to determine the relation of species diversity of trees in the environmental condition
of Navotas City.
BACKGROUND OF Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:
1.What are the species of trees that are present in different barangays of Navotas City?
THE STUDY A. Cluster 1: San Rafael Village, North Bay Boulevard South Proper, North Bay Boulevard South
Dagat-Dagatan, North Bay Boulevard South Kaunlaran, North Bay Boulevard North, Bangkulasi
B. Cluster 2: Bagumbayan South, Bagumbayan North, Navotas East, Navotas West
C. Cluster 3: Tangos 1, Tangos 2, San Roque, San Jose, Daanghari, Sipac Almacen
CONCEPTUAL D. Cluster 4: Tanza 1, Tanza 2
FRAMEWORK 2.How does the abundance of trees relate to its quality based on their location?
A. Fishponds
B. Residential
C. Industrial
STATEMENT OF THE
PROBLEM 3.How does the species diversity of trees relate to the environmental condition of Navotas City?

SIGNIFICANCE OF
THE STUDY
The results of this study will be of great benefit to the following:
Citizens of Navotas. Urban pollution and fine particles are well-filtered by large urban trees.
Planting trees around buildings can reduce air cooling, save energy, and increase urban
biodiversity, making them essential for future generations. Government. This may highlight on
HYPOTHESES which parts of Navotas shall be taken care of and how they shall improve their governance on
taking care of their own community. Environment. Trees contribute to the environment by
providing oxygen, improving air quality, conserving water, and supporting wildlife. Community.
SIGNIFICANCE Tree plantings provide an opportunity for community involvement and empowerment that
OF THE STUDY improves the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Future Researchers. The conclusions drawn
from this research hold an important value and can be a basis for further studies in verifying the
validity of data from associated findings.

SCOPE AND
DELIMITATIONS
This study intends to identify the many tree species that are still present in
Navotas City's several barangays. In addition, this study will determine the
DEFINITION OF TERMS relation of abundance of tree species that are present in public areas of
Navotas City in relation to their physical appearance based on their location.
This study focuses on how the species of trees relate to the environmental
condition when it comes to seasonal flooding, air pollution, and humidity in
Navotas City.
METHODOLOGICAL
FLOW CHART The limitation of this study is that the researchers will not include the private
sectors in the City of Navotas. This study will not determine the age of the
trees. This study may not include other cities.

Definition of Terms
Abundance. The number of an organism's species in a habitat. A species'
DEFINITION OF TERMS geographic distribution is referred to as distribution.
Environmental Condition. The environment's quality and condition are
an unavoidable aspect of daily life that can have an impact on health.
Weather, air quality, and other environmental factors frequently differ
METHODOLOGICAL between populations and geographical regions.
Humidity. A measurement of the air's water vapor content. In relation to
FLOW CHART the maximum amount of water vapor, relative humidity quantifies the
amount of water in the air. (moisture). The amount of water vapor that the
air can contain increases with temperature.
Species Diversity. The total number of species found in an environment
and the relative abundance of each species.
