Hook
All these jokes are
created due to the
initial problems
associated with
Face Id. But
nowadays it hasn’t
this several
problems. And
let’s move on to
our topic.
Who, when, why invented the invention?
According to Fleishman (2017), “On November 3, 2017, Apple
released the iPhone X with Face ID, which is a form of
        biometric authentication” (para 3).
In fact, Face ID is a facial recognition system that
replaces Apple's Touch ID fingerprint scanner on
        some devices.
           How does it function?
According to Apple, TrueDepth camera system is
made up of several components. Working in tandem,
the sensors and components project 30,000 infrared
dots onto your face, which they then use to map your
curves and wrinkles.
During the initial setup of Face ID, it converts your
face map to a 2D image that it uses as a master key.
Every time you wake the screen on your device after
that, Face ID maps your face by projecting dos,
which it compares with the master key it created
during setup.
Where is it used?
                               Face ID is used
                                     to:
                      Approve Sign in to third-

                                           passwords in as banking or
Apple Pay App Store, password manager

•Facial Data
•Fast and Efficient
•Machine Learning
Conclusion
Even if Face Id technology does posses
weaknesses and flaws, it is still one of the most
revolutionizing technology of the last years. As it
was shown in this presentation face ID is used in
many applications in the phone and creates ease of
use. The choice of this topic helped me to closely
familiarize myself with Apple's innovation. I hope
the information from my presentation helped you
             too.
